Our Installation Process
Installation typically takes 1 day, with larger homes completed in 1-3 days.
Power Box Installation
We locate the ideal placement for your power box(typically in the garage near an outlet, or on exterior siding if needed). It’s securely mounted into wall studs for a solid hold, and its weatherproof design allows for safe, flexible installation.
Wire Routing & Connections
After mounting the power box, we route connector wiring along the most seamless path, up the wall into the attic, across to the roofline, and out through a small fascia entry point to the start of the lights. Once installed, the track covers all entry points, which are fully sealed with caulk, wood filler, or blackjack for a clean, weatherproof finish.
Track & Light Installation
We install each run by clicking the LED lights into the aluminum track, then securely fastening the track to your home using screws through the trim or upward into the fascia for a clean, solid hold. The track and lights are installed continuously to the end of each run, where we create a seamless transition to the next section. Wiring is discreetly routed and spliced between runs, with all connections hidden to maintain a clean, professional appearance.
Sealing & Finishing
Once the entire system is installed, we complete a thorough finishing process to ensure long-term protection and a seamless appearance. Every hole created during installation is carefully filled with the appropriate material—caulk, wood filler, or blackjack—depending on its location. We then seal every fastener by applying caulk around and over each screw to prevent any chance of moisture intrusion or wood damage. Finally, we go back through and paint all filled areas, screws, and any minor track imperfections with matching colors, leaving you with a clean, fully sealed, and professionally finished result.
App Setup & Walkthrough
Once your system is fully installed and finished, we walk you through the app setup and make sure you’re confident using every feature. We’ll show you how to schedule your lights to turn on and off, create custom static or moving patterns, choose from preset options, and even plan lighting patterns months in advance. We also guide you through activating features like music/audio sync, so your lights can react to sound for holidays, events, or everyday use.
